Correspondence Strategist - Remote Flexibility
About the position
Responsibilities
- Partner with Mortgage leaders and bank partners to develop, implement and monitor teammate communications/readiness plans in support of overall mortgage initiatives/priorities.
- Deploy teammate readiness through various communications channels to facilitate change management and enable sales and operations teammates to meet production goals and comply with regulations.
- Support the Mortgage Communications Framework, coaching and mentoring the Certified Author and Governing Manager network.
- Lead complex departmental assignments and manage workload effectively.
- Research and write communications materials for mortgage executive management and other leaders.
- Manage town halls and teammate events, utilizing multiple technology platforms.
- Collaborate with digital resources to provide content for digital platforms.
- Support and provide daily guidance to new/junior mortgage communications team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent education or related training.
- Three or more years of financial or mortgage industry experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing/storytelling for multiple communications channels.
- Advanced skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Proven skills in project management and negotiation.
- Experience leading project teams.
- Proven skills in building effective working relationships with business partners.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Workfront, and SharePoint.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Corporate Communications, Employee Readiness, or Marketing Communications.
- Experience in graphic design and the Adobe product suite.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
