Customer Service Associate, NDT
Description:
- Complete daily customer service order processing duties for NDT Business
- Participate in all aspects of customer order fulfillment
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email or chat
- Provide customers with quotes including stock availability, pricing & ETAs
- Issue RMAs for damaged, lost or miss-shipments
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints with patience, empathy & efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to escalate or resolve complex issues
- Coordinate NDT orders and shipping with appropriate warehouse personnel
- Act as primary administrator for all domestic and foreign NDT orders
- Manage billing for South America, Latin America & Chemistry customers
- Create TAS orders for White Mountain customers
- Record, update and catalog all Customer Service procedures
- Participate in bi-weekly NDT staff meetings to help manage backorders
- Process all NDT FOC orders (Domestic and Foreign)
- Assist in data collection and report preparation
- Perform special projects, tasks and studies as requested by management
Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- 3-5 years of Office experience & CSR experience
- Knowledge of SAP required; advanced SAP procedures knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills & the ability to work independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Desire to work as a team player while demonstrating a positive attitude to customers / coworkers
- Ability to sit 75-100% of applicable work time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
- Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time
- Ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time
- Close vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccine mandates, testing, face coverings, and vendor credentialing as required
