About the Role: Vacation Rental/AirBNB Customer Support Assistant

This is a full-time, 100% remote position, requiring 40 hours of commitment per week. As a Customer Support Assistant at blithequark, you will be the frontline representative for our guests, ensuring their interactions with our vacation rental properties are nothing short of exceptional. Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in fostering a loyal customer base and enhancing our brand's reputation in the competitive vacation rental market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Communication: Handle all daily guest communications via text, email, and platform messages in a professional and timely manner, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve guest complaints and issues according to blithequark's standard operating procedures, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance for our vacation rental properties, ensuring they remain in top condition for guests.
  • Turn Process Management: Oversee the turn process for each unit, ensuring that cleaning teams are properly assigned and that properties are ready for incoming guests.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of processes and systems aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience, making our services more efficient and guest-friendly.
  • Review Management: Provide timely reviews of guests on platforms like AirBnB and Vrbo, helping to maintain high standards and foster a positive community.
  • Content Creation: Engage in blog writing about vacation rentals for our company website, increasing our online visibility and appeal to potential guests.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of remote customer service experience, preferably with US-based businesses, showcasing your ability to work independently and manage customer interactions effectively.
  • Direct experience within the vacation rental industry, understanding the nuances of guest expectations and the operational demands of managing short-term rentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite, with the ability to adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Familiarity with communication and management tools such as Slack, Notion, Field Scheduling, and CRM software, highlighting your tech-savviness.
  • Reliable internet/WiFi and high-quality audio equipment, ensuring seamless communication with guests and team members.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests.
  • A strong work ethic and a proven track record of delivering results, demonstrating your reliability and commitment to excellence.
  • Punctuality and reliability, with a consistent record of showing up on time and meeting deadlines.

  • A monthly base salary ranging between $1,000-$1,120 USD, processed bi-weekly via Wise or a similar platform.

Schedule

This role requires working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm PDT. We're looking for someone who is committed to our schedule and can consistently meet our operational needs.
