Product Designer (Footwear)
Job description
The Product Designer (Fashion Retail Industry) is responsible in the creation of bags and shoe designs combining market trends and fashion insights to produce innovative products. Their tasks include sketching, material selection, and trend analysis, along with collaborating closely with stakeholders and fellow designers. They oversee the ordering process and maintain clear communication with vendors and factories throughout development. This role requires attention to detail, awareness of market dynamics, and strong communication skills to bring ideas to life effectively.
Qualifications:

Graduate of relevant degrees such as Bachelor's or College Degree in Design and/or Industrial Design

Knowledgeable in design software (AutoCAD, CAD, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator)

Skilled in bags and shoe design

Preferably with at least 6 months to 1 year experience in product development, design, or a related field.

Knowledgeable in principles and techniques of art and design, technical understanding of the production process, material science, math, and basic physiology.

Must have a strong communication and negotiation skills, as working closely with internal clients, suppliers and other professionals is a key aspect of this profession
