U.S.-Based Virtual Assistant – Email, Calendar, and Small Business Support - Contract to Hire

I’m looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help manage various small business tasks, including email and calendar management, light recruiting coordination, and general administrative support.
This is a remote, part-time position (10–20 hrs/week) that requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background check due to our work in the cleared federal contracting environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and organize email inboxes.
Maintain and coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and send reminders.
Handle light recruiting coordination (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, tracking candidates).
Assist with small business administrative tasks, document organization, and data entry.
Support occasional employee morale and recognition projects.
Requirements:
U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check.
Proven experience in email and calendar management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and scheduling apps.
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Hours & Pay:
10–20 hrs/week, flexible schedule.
$22–$26/hr depending on experience.
