Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and chat by assisting customers with order inquiries, product information, returns, and other service issues.

  • Handle a high volume of customer interactions in a professional and timely manner.

  • Resolve customer concerns by clarifying issues, researching problems, and selecting the best solutions.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Uphold Wayfairs brand values and ensure a positive customer experience at every interaction.

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with email, internet browsers, and basic data entry.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards helping customers.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or retail environments.

  • Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce or home goods industry preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time and part-time shifts available.

  • Flexible scheduling, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

  • Scheduled hours will be communicated in advance with opportunities for overtime during peak seasons.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.

  • Capable of working under minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of productivity.
